The first step of the process is about getting to know what inspires and excites you, and testing lot's of ideas for how your home could be transformed! Through a series of workshops, we establish what you like, and take the best ideas forward and form one cohesive design proposal.

Alongside developing design concepts, we weigh it all up against the budget, timeline and planning restrictions so you can get a full picture of what would be involved to carry out the building works, and can make an informed decision about the project.

With in house planning and heritage specialists, we quickly develop strategies to secure planning permission and/or listed building consent as quickly as possible. To date, we are proud to have successfully navigated complex applications in over 20 planning departments. 

Most of our projects require further permissions, which in many cases we can manage ourselves, and in other cases an external consultant is legally required, such as for party wall consent, in which case we support the process by coordinating all of the technical information required.

Alongside producing our own comprehensive technical documentation, we lead the wider design team in developing all the technical details into one coordinated set of documents. Once building work is underway on site, we are constantly updating and producing more document's for specialist fabricators, and setting out every last detail for the builders.

The creative output from our studio crosses difference disciples to offer you consistency and a holistic approach. Our interior design service takes you from exploring different themes throughout your property, down to the procurement of each individual product. We have good relationships with specialist fabricators in wood-working, metal working and stone masonry, as well as a wide range of brands and suppliers.

The majority of our projects include some level of landscape design; from a small terrace in a central London property, to a large expansive garden in a rural location. We're passionate about the fusion between our architecture and the natural world, and whist starting with our own design intent and vision for the landscaping, will often collaborate with a specialist to refine all the details and select the plant species.

Building on our design management service pre-construction, we lead the process of connecting you with the right builder for your project, and we administer the building contract throughout. We keep on top of the key variables of; scope of work, cost, and time, and give you regular progress updates. Once the work has completed, we manage the schedule of defects, and ensure the final project meets the highest possible standards.
